Rodeos Are His Home (Charli Love)

Rodeos Are His Home
 «Charli Love»

One would say he’s drifter
He’s a loner on his own
Though thousands come to see him
He is never quite alone

He will drive and drive for miles
Living out this dream of his
The great dream of being known
To be known for all he is

Because he is a cowboy
A cowboy he’ll always be
Chasing that dream of stardom
And the life to just be free

His body may be broken
And his wallet just the same
He can never ever stop
’Cause a cowboy can’t be tamed

Rodeo’s an addiction
It’s a drug just like the rest
It feeds upon your hunger
Your great need to be the best

And a hope to be better
And to become better known
He may be called a drifter
Or a loner on his own

Though thousands come to see him
He is never quite alone
But so little do they know
That rodeos are his home
